Hi, I’ve been trying to post a couple of photos on here without success.
I’m not the greatest at these things but if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Put them on an image hosting site first, Start your post, copy the image link, click the Img button, paste the link and then click the Img button again.

Click submit when ready. Job's a good 'un. Thumbs Up

Make sure if using imgr, that you click the more options button and select the BBcode link, as this is different to the link generated you get as normal, and will not work.

It does. I always store mine as forum uploads when I'm posting pics.

Problem with that is if attachments aren't viewed in [an unspecified period of time] then they fall off the server never to be seen again.
