Laughing you can hear the purists turning in their graves Laughing .

Not a bad looking bike.
At that price, it’s to rich for me.

At least it looks like a bike and not something from the scrap heap of a
Transformers film set*

(*most offerings from Japan)

Nightingales of Rugby.

They must have had more marques through their doors than a Soho streetwalker.

Used to be Honda and Hyosong, then Reiju and after that a right variation of Chinese makes.

Helmet department was good for prices and choice though.

Still, it's a pretty enough bike for the uninitiated.

With the new Enfield 650 twins coming out, I reckon there'll be a shedload of Continental 535s being sold off - my local group's already started. If it's your thing, there's going to be bargains to be had, and a lot have already had an exhaust swap and PCV fitted.

Please enlighten me? Is there something wrong with the standard exhaust?
PCV?

My god, I'm not even 30 and I've been thinking about Enfields.

But I think the next thing on my list is something off road. Be that Trials or an Enduro/greenlaner type.

Restrictive exhaust (and air filter). First job GT owners do is junk the exhaust, but then you need to rejet, but it's fuel injection, so you have to spunk 500 quid on a Power Commander V to sort it. Plus another £200 if you want to bypass the rev limiter. Just to make the bike go like it looks out of the factory.

Cheaper to rip the fuel injection out and pop a carb on.

Performance will be fine, not blistering, but fine, based on my Mash 400, it's also been 100% reliable over the 3 1/2 years I've had it, negligible signs of corrosion, and, it's been used in all weathers, perfectly usable on the motorway, but it is more enjoyable on country lanes. Most recent run outs on it have been, a ~280 mile round trip through the Brecons down to Cardiff, before coming back via the Malverns, also, a run into Wales, Llangollen, and a bit of scenic riding. Aside from the more usual popping out to the shops etc ..
