Once read somewhere that sliding distance is down to the co efficient of friction. There was an order of material denim leather etc. The most slidey material is skin you would slide so far with protection and speed up if this wore through to the body. Shocked

Leather is another layer of skin (cow skin) so it makes sense.

Scientists can grow organs in a vat, right? So technically they could grow a human skin in a lab... and treat it. Then you could wear it as leathers with no seams because it would already be the right size. I will leave you with that image! 😂
