I hope you enjoy being wet and shivering your scrot off this winter.

Personally I've had enough of riding through the winter it is a pain in the arse and not at all enjoyable.

I will be very toasty this winter in my newly acquired MK2 ST3.

Or, of course, just get a job where you can work from home !! On the very rare occasions I go into the office, it's 1 1/2 ride on the bike, or anything up to a 3 hr drive in the car, so, even if I do go to the office, and even if the weather is shite, I'll be on the bike

I have the choice of four wheels or two. I use two most of the time.

Rated “off topic” as nothing to do with bikes.

If the forum had a wider quality of negs i’d Also suggest “backpedaling cunt” and “lying bastard”.

Your car sucks almost as much as you had to in order to pay for it, Ashley.

Anyway, this thread is meaningless without custard.

I shan’t hold out much hope considering the mythical R6 incident.

It really isn't that cold if you dress accordingly I rode 40 miles at 5am this morning. I rather enjoyed it could hear a pin drop and the roads were deserted.

The focus is certainly quicker but I found it didn't have quite the same entertaining and playful edge that the fiesta has, hence my choice. The focus handles well enough, but I prefer the fiesta and the fuel economy is significantly improved. I imagine the MK2 is probably.more entertaining than the newer models Collins CP-2 when the warranty is up should go some way to closing the performance gap Vs a stock focus. Straight up speed has never been the point of the ST range anyway. Better off with a fast Audi or golf R if that's your thing.

Thing is with your history it will break down quickly leaving you stranded somewhere to freeze to death in the cold.

But an St isn't that expensive, I'd hope it was paid for outright Smile You don't finance cars, they depreciate too much.

But what bike are you getting... thats the main question.

Sadly correct. I've fitted a dummy obd port and it has a disklok on over night. Fortunately the scale of thefts isn't so bad where I live, except transit vans - they get plundered. In any case I love driving it as much as i do my bikes so I'm not going to be dissuaded. It'll fall out of favour with the thrives in place of something else soon enough anyway.
