Sadly correct. I've fitted a dummy obd port and it has a disklok on over night. Fortunately the scale of thefts isn't so bad where I live, except transit vans - they get plundered. In any case I love driving it as much as i do my bikes so I'm not going to be dissuaded. It'll fall out of favour with the thrives in place of something else soon enough anyway.

I was referring to all the ecoboost engine failures Smile https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-45628325 I was looking at the 1.0L ecoboost, just so I don't have to pay £230 a year for the privilege of waiting a dozen seconds to get to 60 Rolling Eyes

Ah. Yeah I saw that. Mine is MY16 (one of the last) so apparently not affected. In any case it's hard to find a model of any car that doesn't have some issue.

That's true but the engine shitting itself is a fairly major one Smile

It can be a good laugh off road - when it's really muddy it can be tricky, but when the going's not too soft it's easier and you can go faster. Also, because it takes more physical effort, you're more likely to get hot than cold.

Is ‘KITT’ the same as ‘Fazer’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Sprocket’ and all the rest?
The guy who says anyone who has a car is a useless twat, real men ride all year, blah blah? Bikes are the best thing in the world even through snow, rides on his secret missions in 1/8 of the time car drivers take to even start the engine?
Chump.

wuss

Just how many layers were you wearing on the bike?
I'm just using textile jacket and trousers with outlast linings, bar muffs, fitted heated grips for this year as Raynaud's is thought to be hereditary and I'd rather put it off for as long as possible.
