Hello all after some advice, I left my bike in a garage for two weeks without running it, when I got back to it and got it ticking over at first none of the lights worked which I thought was fairly normal as I presumed the battery was low and need some trickle charge from the engine. so I got it running for a little while and sure enough the low and main beam started to work, as did the tail light and also the break light, how ever none of the four indicators work at all which is strange as they all worked perfectly before Its stint in the garage. what could be causing this ? Thanks, Joe.

I would charge the battery first.
Then check for a live feed at the flasher unit.
Also what bike are we talking?

That is a one long sentence, Joe.

If the battery is not the issue, check:
1) fuse box
2) the switch (fiddle with the switch a bit, use a contact cleaner)
3) the turn signals relay (clean or replace)

I had this issue as well after the motorcycle in question was in storage for about 3 years. All I did to fix it was to spray some contact cleaner into the switch and moved it left and right for several seconds. That cleaned the contacts of the switch enough for the turn signals to work again. EDIT: It was right before I went to the MOT place, so I had no time to take it apart and clean it properly. That being said, this ''fix'' worked and the turn signals have been alright ever since. Smile

The relay might also be stuck.
