Hello everyone.

Long story short my house was burgled a week ago now and the little sh*ts stole all 3 of my bike keys for my Xmax 125i 2008 as well as thousands of pounds of goods... (Police was contacted straight away and nothing yet so hence why I am here)

I use my bike every day to get to work and back plus other stuff and it is a very big part of my life as I even pick my kid up from school using it and he absolutely love its.
I really need to get my bike running again but CANNOT afford to take it to the dealership and pay there costs to reprogram the keys or even a locksmith.

So what I am asking is, how do I start my bike to be able to get to work and back? I only need a temp fix until I get the money to replace the whole ignition barrel.

Thank you all!

you'll struggle to get people to tell you, on an open forum, how to hotwire your bike im afraid. especially as you have only just joined, and no one knows you from Adam....

good luck anyway.

What does your insurance company say about it? That, I would have thought, should be your first line of enquiry. If they're going to pay up, they might be persuaded to pay up fast. It might be best to get a whole lock set & ECU.

You need to cut the blue wire coming out of the ignition switch and connect it to the battery +

Touch anyone of the other black wires to bare metal.

Or is it the Green Wire you have to cut and connect to the battery +?

Or you could do what honest folk would do and call the dealer. If you don't know the dealer then call the OEM.
Or ask a bike garage.

Thinking All of his "current bikes" are the most stolen models in London.

And who leaves all three keys to their bike in the same location. And if the thieves took the keys, they would have taken the bike by now. Rolling Eyes

No burglar or bike thief is going into a house to take motorbike keys. A burglary charge, when they can just cut the lock off. Really likely. Perhaps if you had a Golf R or new Audi RS6. "Your" little moped on the black market is worth £50.

No mention of them taking the keys to your other three bikes you claim to have, so why not use one of them.

Perhaps they stole the keys in/with something else? I don't know. Anyway, I'd guess the fix is a new lock or lock + ECU, gen'wine 2-hand bargain from somewhere or new on the insurance.

I read it as they stole all 3 keys for his X max so he needs a new brain so he can program his keys again

Not they stole all the keys to my 3 bikes

Aww don't be like that.
I'd gladly fire a slice or two of Scottish Plain in for you.
You can slather as much Lurpak on as you like too.

That's not bread, it's sodding cardboard. Cardboard that's a weird shape and won't fit in a toaster properly. Why my missus loves the stuff is beyond me.
