Just run an ordinary three line BT system. Keep getting calls to update to BT Cloud voice, promises of cheaper calls and line rentals etc.

Don't want to mess around with established business numbers even though promised they can stay the same.

Anybody have experience of this cloud based system, problems, reliability, best thing since sliced bread etc?

Thanks for any input Confused

Personally I don't like BT for business phone use.

We switched to NTE a few years ago. Much cheaper for the phone lines and also cheaper and faster for leased lines.

I also don't like relying on the cloud (i.e. other people's servers) for essential systems.
I only have one customer using internet voip - at one of their sites.
When they have internet problems they have to rely on mobile phones.

for SME's BT palm off accounts to something called BT local Business.
these are just re-sellers like any other.

they are not any more or less BT than any other re-seller.

avoid at all costs...
just avoid.

I can sell you a nice cloud-based system. we use LG-IPECS cloud.
not a bad little system,

In fact, I'm sat in the office doing nout, as there are hardly any issues with it, so not much for us to fix.

Thanks for the replies........I think I'll stick with the present system. Might review in the future as this type of new technology is bound to get better / cheaper. Smile
