i have just restored a 12v chaly cf50 fully automatic,
i have fitted a kitaco 75cc piston kit and a big valve head and restored the outside to full 6v looks
i now want to convert it to manual/auto clutch
anyone have a bottom end kicking about so i can swap the gears over, drill out the gear pedal etc to keep my engine number on the block etc
if not what engines are compatible c50/70/90 cubs??
also, since my engine is 12v but lights are 6v, how do i go about converting the lighting system to 12v
lastly, it bogs if you give it full throttle at low revs so needs to be accelerated slowly, is this normal?
i purchased a 19mm carb for the sake of giving it a go as its currently on the tiny 50cc one with larger jets, i tried them all and this was the best one.. |

Personally I don't think the SBA police would care or even know what you'd done, but that's your choice.
Or just buy an old twist and go, for work, loads of 'em on Bazafaki and keep the Chaly for best.
Anyway if you need parts, this guy has always found parts for me:-

There's also shop in Pafos, he sells a lot on ebay,
His ebay shop is called "i_love_japan_motors". ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |
