Trying to get a baffle for my Blue Flame end can and it seems they are £50 + postage just for the baffle. During my search for one eBay keeps popping up results for whole end cans for less than half that, with baffle etc. Also lots of others as expected, mostly from Hong Kong, China.

A while back I was looking at a GRMoto end can for £135.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GRmoto-SUZUKI-SV650-SV-2003-2013-Carbon-Exhaust-03-04-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-13/152697826330?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Now seeing these on eBay which look identical?

Now, I realise that the cheap ones are not going to be the same as the ones they are copying, Mivv etc, but are those GRMoto ones not just the same as cheap ones with their badge put on them? I can see the difference in quality between the cheap ones and the Akropovic just from the look in the photos, but the GRMoto? Looks identical to the cheap ones to me?

Tempted to try one of the cheap ones instead of getting a baffle for my Blue Flame for now. Maybe not the ones that are selling for £12.99 though.

What happened to the baffle that was in??

Also, have you tried contacting the manufacturer directly?

https://www.blueflameperformance.com/

It's a UK company (though their website appears wonky today..) In the past I've contacted Scorpion and they were excellent.

Might be worth speaking to the company directly before splashing bigger bucks on the unknown..

You can buy UK made stainless baffle inserts on eBay. They come in many angles, lengths and diameters. Not sure if one would be suitable for your bike though. They'd also have the potential to smother the exhaust if not careful when choosing/fitting.

Chinese stuff is just that - copies of known systems and without quality control. Stainless will be partial stainless, sizes will be approximate, welds will stick but not be strong.
If I had to buy an end can I'd buy British again.

To be fair, at £25 it's worth a punt. If it lasts 6 months, it cost you £1 a week.

I cant see it not lasting that long.

I chucked one of those on my old versys.

It was alright for the money. It was a stainless one.

Did 3k round Europe on a twin without shitting itself. Wasn't light mind.

I helped fit one of the cheaper ones to a bandit 600.

They are not carbon, they are farbon.

But, seemed well made and sounded ok for £25.

End can came with bike and previous owner had no baffle.
That £50 + postage price is from Blue Flame direct.

I have one of those cheapy cans on the work rat. I've also had them on a YBR and a Derbi. They're ok.

Bear in mind they're straight through without the baffle. It's easy enough to drill them out and repack them if needed (I ended up opening and modifying the latest one, as I needed more back pressure - picky motor).
