Hi I have an N reg 1995 gs 125 that has a slide carb fitted the previous owner told me he changed it to this. It has never ran right since I bought it and is getting worse. Should it have had a CV carb fitted? if I wanted to fit a CV carb is it as simple as just fitting it in place of the slide carb?

Thanks

John

I’d be inclined to get another carb that was originally for that bike.....carburation on vehicles is a real science, many a day have I spent sodding about with different carbs for the hope I would get heaps better performance....nah.....back to stock carb is the best solution.
Good luck.
