Happy New Year!

OK here goes my first post.

My wife has a Suzuki RV125 Van Van 2000 ish

I charged it over Xmas & I came to start it but.......

1. Ignition lights and headlight came on
2. I tried to fire it up using the starter button
3. I heard a small pop
4. Ignition Lights/headlight went dead as did the bike
5. The Kick stand is up (which cuts off the ignition if down) and I have checked the 20A fuse behind the RHS panel. The battery is good and fully charged.

Has anyone any ideas what the cause and better still the solution could be?

Thanks for your time.[/list]

How old is the battery? 125 batteries are not very big and I find I have to replace it every 2-3yrs when they need recharging more often and lose charge much quicker. At £25 for my most recent Wr125x battery it is no hardship. Once you know you have a good battery then its one less thing to consider as a possible cause.
