I've pointed this out many times to my pupils.....provenance means everything in antiques.. what's different in bikes...buy from who you trust and pay a bit more... honesty wins out.

this guy will have looked after it well as he's a mechanic


can be the worst of the lot for having dodgy vehicles

they spend so much time working on others vehicles they never get round to doing things to their own

Andy speaks the truth.
Mechanics seems to take perverse pleasure in picking vehicles up cheap, doing no maintenance whatsoever, and seeing how long they last.
