I have a Sipgate VOIP account which I use primarily as a secondary landline number for incoming calls; but on the rare occasion I need to make am international voice call I'll use it for that too. However, recently (and currently) the system won't work for making international calls. I can call UK landlines and mobiles fine (including when I try prefacing the numbers with the international access code for UK, 00 44) but nothing happens when I try overseas numbers (France, USA, New Zealand). No error message, nada - the call timer starts but there's just silence on the line. Makes no sense at all to me - surely my system must be configured correctly, but how/why does it discriminate against international numbers?

I'm using a Siemens Gigaset S685IP handset, via a VirginMedia Superhub FWIW. Any VOIP geeks here have a clue as to what might be going on?

I've got blocked destinations on mine, have you checked that you haven't blocked any on the web portal?
