I've recently got into helping my brother build lithium ion battery cells for E bikes
but I want to build some packs of 12v to play around with to use for camping and astronomy trips

I harvested 24 cells tonight from various laptops I had that were dead but they are all a bit of a mismatch
any places you can scavenge battery's ?? I'd prefer to get ones from a single unit that has had constant charge / recharge rather than mix & match

I can test the cells and I'm comfortable removing the nickle strips and buffing off any welds
I have already built battery from scratch for a busker amp (4s 5p) with a BMS that turned out really well from re cycled batterys
and I have access to spot welders and 3d printers to make the battery holders etc
