Visiting NW200 and viewing areas

Hi All

Does anyone have any advise on visiting the NW200 ?

I'm specifically looking for how easy it is to get to other areas of the track away from the coast.

Are there signed viewing areas or is it more someone who knows someone who let them stand in their back garden ! etc

The coarse is public roads until about an hour before racing. So you have tons of time to scope out a vantage point.
We tried the farmers fields during practice but the business happens at the slower bits usually in the town's.
Just don't sit in the way of physics.
The bikes crash...
