I've only ever had one 'abusive' rating but that was from Val after I posted a R***P*l quote which I don't think he got.

I'd hazard a guess that:-

If you were to constantly dish out negative karma to one particular person, your own karma is going to take a hit.

If you're giving out more negative karma than good karma, your own karma is going to take a hit as well.

If you're the only person giving negative karma to another member, your own karma is, probably, going to take a hit.

So, it's, mostly,self inflicted!
