I dabbled with cameras once and they made the speed seem greater than it was.

If you're telling yourselves you wouldn't have been caught out in similar circumstances I call it overconfidence. Beware.

Listening to this and clicking just before impact and laughing hysterically.

For some reason I love watching people get hit by vehicles, personally I'd almost always blame the pedestrian, whenever I'm on the road I'm always looking out for vehicles regardless of who has right of way.

However MCN has a point and I agree with what may be said in court along with the telltale signs of pedestrians being about, it is a pedestrian crossing after all.

I love the sound of my loud pipes, and they can be heard from miles away in the right conditions. I often find people look out for me and think I'm going much quicker than I am. In more rural areas I sometimes find cyclists will actually pull off the road and wait for me to pass.

Do you not think pedestrians have responsibilities too? The rider seems to have done all he could apart from walked to his destination. You wouldn't have done any better.

Yes. I really do agree that pedestrians should be responsible for their actions.
But.... Other people involved are usually in or on a vehicle that obviously provides a form of protection.
There is decent argument for the responsibility being shifted to the person using the vehicle.

As mentioned, we are all human and can make mistakes. Why should a pedestrian be punished so severely for a slight error in judgement?
It is really just a moment's loss of concentration after all.

How many times do drivers bump a kerb or clip a fence with no kittens injured?

And even if we do have to crawl through traffic it's downright selfish to expect all other road users to kow-tow to a drivertrider coz they're short on patience.

I read about this year's ago and it made me think, they clogged are crazy. Not really so daft if you think about the simplification is allows.

Not in this case though. As I said, I thought the rider was riding responsibly and was unfortunate to encounter an irresponsible road user. There is no way the girl could justly claim it wasn't her fault yet you'd have the rider up before the beak because of her inattentiveness. Madness; but I suspect you're just having fun with this topic.

Depends how much they like being handed large fines by the information commissioners office I suppose.

What stick are you going to hit them with if ICO are equally uncooperative?
