I know BCF is not a one make forum, but some of the stuff he says here does apply! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

Used to be pretty much only bike stuff. Then there was so much non-bike related stuff, the NBR section was put in.
I'd personally like to see it that you need to have posted some sort of relevant and regular contribution in the bike related sections of the forum to allow you to post in the NBR sections.
Maybe rehash the karma system so it gives karma for bike related posts but removes it for NBR content?
The ratings system ought to be enough to keep a lid on shitposting in the bike section just to gain "credit".
I sometimes wonder if some of the more politically vociferous members are even interested in motorbikes or just come on here to lick the windows. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Motorcycle forums are dominated by the 'wisdom' of high posters. Smart arse comments rule the day . Look at me, I'm a 'site bully' cos I write a lot. Just occasionally, the little man says something good, only to be censored by the big guns. This forum is successful because it is less pc than many . It's a safe haven for hardened forumites. If you can cut it here, you've arrived. Single bike forums are usually run by 'little hitlers' with their rules and bans. Try all the others first and then come here. BCF is for pros. ____________________ Swansea area
