Tempted. but I had a 24l tank one before and it wouldn't run my impact wrench so not sure...
Been told need at least a 50l tank for air tools, however, old comp was very old, and tank did leak a bit so was almost always on when in use. ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/

I got given one of those compressors last year.
It came with some brand new unopened spray painting kit, is it up to spray painting? ____________________ "Everybody needs money, that's why they call it money!" |

The biggie with these is that the supplied couplings and hose is a narrow gauge Euro size. It's not the CFM, nor tank capacity I ever had an issue with, it's the bore size of the couplings and hose.
Go to Screwfix or Toolstation and buy a couple of wider bore BSP hoses and a few male and female BSP couplings for your tools, hoses and compressor outlets.
It transforms these and resolved all the issues I had. I've even used mine to spray up to 50 pieces of MDF in 2 Pack paint for my campervan furniture. Not once did it run out of puff, but you will need a moisture trap and regulator. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Are there any soft covers for reducing the volume of these things?
Coincidentally Aldi had hearing protectors like that once or twice. |

Not sure you understand what I meant. I upgraded the fixings and hoses from the supplied to a wider bore, which was just the standard available 1/4 BSP thread stuff from Toolstation and Screwfix. |
I understand, but You said the Euro fittings are narrower. The bore of the Euro fittings are noticebly bigger, hence why they are also called Hi Flow fittings.
It is not that important unless you are using some seriously powerful tools. As mentioned previously, it is probably the puny hose that is the restriction on the cheap Aldi stuff. |
All I know is that the supplied couplings and hoses were narrower gauge and let less air through than the 1/4 BSP PCL fittings and rubber hoses bought from Screwfix and Toolstation, which I upgraded everything to.
It's a common modification on these Aldi supplied compressors and makes the tools work a lot better. ____________________ TZR250 2MA road, TZR250 1KT road, TZR250 2MA race, TDR250, YZF-750R Boost colours.

Is the cleaner any good? Might be tempted by some to flush out the paraffin after a clean to help dry off the chain. ____________________ TG. |
