Had one of the Abba stands for my last bike and it did the job, used the other part you can purchase for it that enables front wheel to lift which was good also.
Centre stands are easy to lift onto if you can get the knack of using with minimal effort. ____________________ Honda Africa Twin |

Generally true butt....
I've had loads of bikes with centre stands but the one I have now hates going on the centre stands.
I have a K1300. The internet is awash with stories of folk with broken stands.
BMW modificated the stand for the 1300s but did not change the geometry.
When the beast is empty it is a knack to get on the stand.
With the luggage (that BMW supply with the bike) it's almost impossible.
I reported this to BMW, they advised that I ask the dealer. (Fuckin' really??)
The dealer showed me. Aye but the guy had to remove the luggage first.
5 other bikes I've had were easy to put on the stand.
But I dare anyone to contradict BMW. Wankers.
But normally, on most bikes, it should be easy with some technique involved. ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |

I have a bad back, but I have no problems getting my bike onto its centre stand. Today ( about five minutes ago) I tried my new Halfrauds paddock stand, and...
it didn't hurt my back
... which means I now have no excuse for not changing the back brake pads, Foxeye Fazer owners will sympathise. ____________________ They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa, hey-hey,
