As above, now I have my cat-A licence I want to get the restrictor washers out ASAP.
As far as I know, the restrictor consists of 4 washers at the bottom of each carb. I wasn't given any parts back when I had it restricted, so once I get those out I should be good to go.
Or am I?
Is there more tinkering that needs to happen in the engine block itself? Keen to get my own hands dirty and do it myself, but don't want anything to go bang in the near future.
Please assume you're talking to someone who has next-to-no knowledge about internal combustion |

If it's a carbed bike and was supplied restricted by Honda, it could have reduced effect (narrower) inlet manifold rubbers fitted which would need to be replaced. Mrs stinkwheels CB500 also had richer main jets as part of the restriction. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
