Private or dealer?

If dealer ring them and get your money back..

Private. Just buy a new battery...

Then check that you are posting in the correct forum Rolling Eyes

You wot mate.

Try Tayna for your battery, get one with a long guarantee if you can, and an American-English dictionary for your prop stand.

Blah blah.. next time you answer a question you could just answer it and not be an entire bag of tools thanks Smile

Seriously?
Posts in wrong section: A spanner.
Buys bike without researching first: A hammer.
Gets correct advice yet attacks someone who helps: A sack.
You are the bag of tools.

I'll keep my clothes on, thanks.

Sounds like a bad battery ... but why the battery went flat / died / isn't charging is a whole kettle of fish.

Does it have any accessories ( alarm, heated grips) that might be draining the battery?

Got a multimeter?

Yes seriously
Posts in wrong section, never used a forum before and clicked the wrong one
Buys bike without research: did do research just didn't know about gs haters
And as for being rude to the guy who answered, I said thank you, and he could've just answered and mentioned the wrong section without being an ass, as for you, you didn't even answer, your just trying to start shit for no reason and defend someone who couldve easily defended themselves.
I'm glad you'll keep your clothes on, *...* Is called an ellipses and doesn't represent a long pause, *a whole other kettle of fish is the phrase, and yes I have got a multimeter, you all have shown me that 3/4 people will be an ass fir no reason. I'll look elsewhere for more info; apparently this forum is only for perfect people. And I'll call it kickstand because they're the same thing. Have good life guys, I hope people in general are more accepting and polite to you than you have been in the single replies you've given. I won't be back.

No, it's called an ellipsis. Ellipses is the plural.

I think that's English too, but a little more modern, and - perhaps - a little less refin'd? Smile

Could have been in 'Workshop.' Is it so important?

Anyhow, the cheapest, easiest first step is to try a jump start (jump leads) from a car battery (car engine off). If the bike starts you have a flat battery (and now need to decide whether the battery has died or wasn't being topped up by the charging system.) If the bike doesn't start (sounds like it will) you're on the path to identifying a faulty component.
