The latest horror/thriller flick doing the rounds on social media/websites being hailed as a masterpiece of a movie.
I rarely go to the cinema, last time I went was to watch A Quiet Place which was a bang average 6/10.
Us though, 5.5/10. I can suspend disbelief to an extent but when that extent reaches the realms of laughable and a half baked concept on which the entire plot of the movie rests on, its failed as a movie imo.
From the director of Get Out which again was OK but is way, way overhyped most likely for the 'racial awareness' it shoves down your throats

It was indeed an 'interesting' one. Trailer, I suspect purposely, shows nothing but a home invasion type of situation- Not what it was about at all, really.

My eldest daughter saw it today... she laughed all the way through!

Wait... is it meant to be a comedy?

How old are you?

Horror/Scare movies are aimed at teenagers.

A failed theory that making adolescents afraid will assert some sort of control over them.

I was going to divvy up a few quid to watch this tonight. Unfortunately, I watched the trailer again and in the comments someone gave the plot twist away. Not much point now.
