I see they are having another draw now, Mondays and Thursdays so along with Lotto and Euromillions we now have a draw 6 days of the week. They are probably working out how they can get Sundays signed up as well. Rolling Eyes (plus they have scratch cards)

A choice for people to have a little flutter with good causes benefiting or a cynical way of relieving the poor of what little spare cash they have in the hope of a big payout? I know my view.

I also think it's a way the government can stop supporting arts, projects and heritage leaving those governing body's to beg for money from the lottery fund rather than the government.

Win win for government. Win win for Camelot. Lose for someone with fcuk all money to start with.

National Ripoff more like.

I said from the very beginning that the whole thing should have been run as a non profit making scheme.

The first time the contract was up for renewal Camelot actually lost it to such, but then suddenly the decision makers changed their mind.

Can't think why Thinking

Ten grand a month for 30 years. Now I've looked into this (£1.50 a pop) and it confuses the shit out of me. It's not clear at all how it's to be run.

I believe it's some sort of insurance policy? I'll stop there because I know nothing on that subject.

For me my question is what if there are two winners? I can't find the answer to it - unless someone knows??

Yeah another poor tax..

I used to do it, when it was the one draw on a Saturday night, was a slight bit of fun - part of my Saturday evening, i worked really long hours and would sit usually with a can and maybe some fish and chips and watch it, before a video - remember those? LOL

but lost interest long ago, so many different draws and variations etc

£1.50 a go, first prize £10k a month for 30 years, 2nd prize £10k a month for a year. Then the obligatory smaller amounts.

Originally Camelot employed some boffin to work out what 49!/6!.43! was. Then scaled it up for profit factor (to them), hence 49 numbers at £1 a pop.

Then that wasn't quite paying for enough champagne so increase to 59 numbers (proles won't understand the difference)

Increase to £2. Oh shit proles might figure what we're doing.

Solution = More jackpot draws Thumbs Up

I've put fuck all into their coffers since I got £15 for four numbers (out of six).

Cunts.
