Nice to see you've learnt from your gdpr debacle, and got ahead of the curve on this !! This is hardly breaking news

£85,000. Me too.
Glad to see apparently a free way of submitting the returns though; hopefully by the time I'm compelled to do it this will have been sorted out properly

Christ on a stick! that Freeagent is £300 a year + for a limited Co, for something I'd need to use for 2 minutes 4 times a year.

There's an awful lot of software firms milking the fact that the government have made this mandatory. I can't help but feel the government are on the take somehow with this. I wonder if they sell licences to the software vendors to be approved?

More fecking indirect taxes on those who dare to work for a living.

I though you worked in IT, or at least are supposed to be working in IT. There are a number of free solutions or very cheap solutions, here's just 1 example.. Why do you just seem to make life difficult for yourself, or, is it just you like to be angry at something, anything !!

i use it to produce all my quotes and deal with any invoices and expenses.
it also deals with any Pay role and wage slips.

it calculates everything on the fly, telling me how much money is owed to which tax peoples and what remaining profit i can withdraw.

i'm a bit ocd about keeping good and accurate records.
but i dont want to spend all day fucking about with convoluted stuffs.

if your a freelance IT chap then your pulling in enough money to know what your time is worth and what things are worth paying for and what stuff to do your self.
