Ozzie's had a fall
Mick's got a heart valve prob

When will these silly old men learn that they can't keep gadding about the place pretending to be spring chickens. Why don't they just retire and enjoy their zillions in peace and quiet.

What next, Alice Cooper falling off a ladder thinking he's still young enough to fix the tiles on the roof himself?
I reckon Dolly Parton is going to kark it pretending she is still young enough to dance on tables.

Where do they get their energy?

Its all I can do to get across town and back every day with a little light shopping on the way, and I arrive home exhausted and in need of a restorative cupcake and a cup of tea before I even think about having the strength to switch the telly on.

And I have a very selfish Me First lifestyle these days.

I took the roof off of the car port for my 85 year old father in law, and his brother-in-law a mere 70 year old with his own building company came and put a new on one

every two minutes the silly sod was up a ladder walking around on the roof joists "helping"

he wanted a smallish tree trimming down and rather than just let me get on with it when he was away, he insisted on "giving me a hand" he was supposed to just hold the ladder, I decided id be better up the other side with a saw and climbed down to move it - he took that as a sign that I was tired, and shot up the ladder and started sawing

his get up and go has sustained him for a long time, but now he really does need to just stop before he hurts himself

despite their youthful excess nearly killing them, all these celebs probably have personal trainers, tailored diets and platinum card private health care - that helps a bit I should think

Nah it doesn't work like that - I'm getting to that age where things are getting harder (oo err missus)
If you simply do what you can normally do daily then gradually over the weeks and months your body finds it harder and harder to do. It's like your fitness retreats.
People over certain ages push themselves way beyond their current limits. Sure it can hurt and sure it can scare family but what they're doing is ensuring their current fitness or ability levels never retreat. They enjoy being active and want to keep it that way.
Yes they're literally pushing themselves a bit too much!

They can afford lots of cocaine, good quality cocaine. And can also afford to have their blood changed.

Don't forget harvesting the adrenal glands of third world children... what do think Live Aid was really about?

Actually, yeah I get that.

Some days - despite being a tubster - when I actually can, I still make myself run up the stairs of the tube station. Or I run for a bus. If you don't use it you're definitely gonna lose it.

I had to run for a train out of Victoria Station last night.
But they had put an empty train in front of the one I usually get. So I had to run further. In less than two minutes.
But the guard could see that the fat old granny was making an effort to catch the train, and even though I stopped and got a bit diva-ish, they made it clear they were prepared to wait, so I made a bit more effort.
And I think that the pay-off is that I had more energy to walk Robbie further this morning.

Cool Thumbs Up

Ya, right: entertained watching my chins wobble in unison not only with my tits, but also with my arse and belly, as I "ran" Rolling Eyes

Laughing Laughing
