For those that are youngsters and know little about it, a time when one tribe (Hutu) decided to eradicate another tribe (Tutsi) with government approval . Watch the film Hotel Rwanda, it's horrific in that it's a true story.

Anyway my beef is that while there was an EU representative and many from other countries, the only British one seems to be Cherie Blair. Why?

Her 'should be in prison' lying greasy scumbag of a husband is NOT PM anymore.

She has never held a British office so if she was there as our representative it is wrong.

Why didn't someone of note from us attend.

It very much disgusts me that our Lords and Masters didn't send someone who is a serving politician. Although it was only Africans I suppose Rolling Eyes

She'll be somehow legally connected and part of something to do with that country. I hate to think what.
Bet her murderous husband tweaked her into that job, Stinks though because as you say - WTF.

What is she doing these days? Din't she leave legal stuff behind and start a business selling shoes etc and it failed?

The Blair's Happy Christmas card last year was epic.

He looked like he was going to chin someone.

Googles Blairs Xmas card... OMG. He's bonkers.

Taking this totally off topic but I keep thinking about them, you know, making babies. Swallowing sick just typing this.

I'm hunting through news references and so far can't see WTF the event had to do with her.

Edit: I have the reason why - it was wrapped up in her Wiki page..

'In 2015, Blair defended Rwandan spy chief Emmanuel Karenzi Karake against accusations that he had conspired to murder three Spanish NGO workers and a Canadian priest. Karake had allegedly done so because the workers knew about the Rwandan Patriotic Front killing Hutu civilians in the Democratic Republic of the Congo'

It's about all I can fig up. Still doesn't excuse British politicians for not sending someone over.

They are both majority Christian. Religion wasn't a reason for the genocide, it was tribalism. Stop acting like MPD and bringing Muslims good/bad into every fvcking thread.

Read this bit:

Checkpoints and barricades were erected to screen all holders of the national ID card of Rwanda, which contained ethnic classifications. (The Belgian colonial government had introduced use of these classifications and IDs in 1933.) This enabled government forces to systematically identify and kill Tutsi.

Frightening.

Did the French or Belgians send anyone? Awkward considering they backed the Hutu government during the genocide.

^^ If you check all of their Xmas cards, you'll see that he just can't smile. They're all fake smiles.
Staggering when you consider actual video footage of him walking around with a smile. They were never smiles at all..

Fair enough. I don't know enough about the Belgian/French interference. Will have a look.

Also, the oh so courageous Bill Clinton knew all about the massacre but his pooper went 'cos of the previous cock up in Somalia.

Basically everyone in the entire world knew all about it and did nothing Sad Except the French... who decided to lend a hand.

It also had the full backing of the Roman Catholic Church of Religious Cunts too.

God Is Not Great: C. Hitchins

"An even more graphic example is afforded by the case of Rwanda, which in 1992 gave the world a new synonym for genocide and sadism. This former Belgian possession is the most Christian country in Africa, boasting the highest percentage of churches per head of population, with 65 percent of Rwandans professing Roman Catholicism and another 15 percent adhering to various Protestant sects. The words “per head” took on a macabre ring in 1992, when at a given signal the racist militias of “Hutu Power,” incited by state and church, fell upon their Tutsi neighbors and slaughtered them en masse."

Not their first Rodeo at genocide either the absolute cunts.
