BCF Bike Picture Challenge 2018 Round 1 - Good luck everyone; and have fun.

Lets try and do this round this in 2019 year Laughing

Take a picture of your bike with the object or place named by the previous winner, and then set the next challenge.

Next challenge will be your bike at your favourite bike cafe.

Poll added for 10 days to decide whether the first to 10 is the winner, or the most pictures once 50 have been completed.

Rules:

1. Has to be YOUR motorcycle.
2. Picture has to be taken after challenge is made. Challenge must be met by a single picture. You can post more pictures to make something clearer.
3. Challenge is good for one week. If nobody gets it by then, please select a different challenge.
4. Challenges must be legal and Safe For Work.
5. If you comment rather than post an entry, then please repeat the current challenge at the end of your comment, especially if you start a new page.
6. No repeat challenges within this thread. You can repeat challenges from previous rounds.
7. Only one person can win each challenge and set the next one. Challenge setter to resolve any disputes, or failing that, three consecutive Thumbs Ups from other members wins it.
8. Challenges cannot be won by the person setting the challenge.
9. If you want to show a late entry after a challenge has been won, then please only post a link to the picture. Do not actually show your image directly as it's confusing.
10. Round ends after 50 or 10 challenges depending on the poll vote?

Winner of the round copies this post and creates the next round challenge thread and post with the poll. And second post in the new thread with the first challenge for the new round.

Participants should reward challenge winning photos with Karma

The goal is to encourage people to ride out, so please make challenges clear and achievable by most members.
Challenges that require other people or props or that can be satisfied by taking a picture of your bike in the driveway or garage are generally frowned upon.
Dangerous or practically impossible challenges should not be set.

Quote:
4. Challenges must be legal and Safe For Work.

I expect it’s legal in many instances to stop ahead to of the sign (but not beyond it). Happy to be corrected, in which case I’ll propose an alternative challenge.

Chalk it up. Laughing

It's a shit rule and why I gave up on this.

"Your bike by a metal gate", is just boring.

"Your bike illegally parked outside a fire station with a whore leant on it", is interesting.

If someone suggests something insanely illegal/dangerous/likely to result in contracting syphillis then it times out after a week anyway.

Not for me, as Val said the whole aim of the game is to get us out riding.

For many it doesn't though, I could have done these rounds "challenges" in a 500M lap round the little shithole I live in. They need to have an aspect of actual challenge, make you do some planning to find something obscure, make you ride an actual bit of distance or make you wonder how the feck you are going to get your bike inside a car park lift and take a photo of it.

As I said they time out after a week so if they are too hard/illegal/obscure then it's just a case of wait a week.
