Anybody use it? What do you use it for, etc.
And most importantly, does it work for you?

I've tried but it didn't seem to do anything. However, surprising as this might be, I don't have any of the underlying mental conditions that CBD is meant to help.

Yes but it flies off the chain rapidly..

In seriousness though, yes I use it.
There are various strengths and types which you'll already know about.
Why do I use it? It depends on the person and what you're wanting to fix or fettle and for me my brain tends to go into overdrive. Not overthinking things but just hyper. Combine hyper with sudden flat spots of thinking and then sudden overload and you'll see that my thinking needs leveling out - a steady pace will do.
CBD oil does just that for me. I don't feel high or any cr*p like that. For me it allows my brain to think at a steadier pace. It's excellent for me when trying to sleep. Sometimes my brain just never slows down.
I can sleep at night because my brain is ticking over and not doing a dyno run.

Others here use it too - I've seen mentions of it.

The mrs is trying it out for various ailments because of its anti-inflammatory properties.
She's had enough of painkillers.

Medications can bring some shitty side effects. In fact some medications are given because of their side effects and not that actual use of the drug - Gabapentin for example.

For me the only issues I get with CBD oil are the fact that some people don't understand it and accuse you of being a junkie - FFS Holland and Barrett sell a type of CBD oil!
The other problem was a bad taste in my mouth come the morning but it's easily fixed with a cup of tea.

I say give it a try. Keep an open mind and see the overall results. I was quite surprised.

I was also largely unconvinced about the pain management aspect, but I read up on it and saw that it was alleged to help with concentration. So, as I have a mate who distributes CBD honey (fresh honey from local bees) I thought I'd try it out.

So I nommed half a teaspoon every morning for about a week and found that after a while not only was my concentration at work seeming to be better, but also I was managing my relationship breakdown much better than the THC "medications" I was using to stun myself from the pain of a broken heart (awww)

I have taken to mixing it into the ginger and mango yoghurt that I have in the morning with my granola and its very nice indeed, seems to calm my frazzled nerves.

I've also got a mate who is the distributor of CBD coffee which is surprisingly nice : a buzz but in a relaxed kind of way.

I've never tried a purely CBD based product, but smoking weed definitely, undeniably helped immensely with pain control for me following my big bike smash. It was far more effective than any prescribed pain killer, many of which had worse side effects in prolonged usage. Just the way in which it relaxed me had immense benefits in this regard.

I bought the mrs a CBD balm for a more targeted effect.
She reckons its pretty good, certainly works better than things like Voltarol.

Are these things expensive?
I've looked at using turmeric as an anti-inflammatory among other benefits, but two teaspoons in a cuppa, and then likely needing lemon, honey or whatever additive to make it more palatable makes it beyond my means - or even without additives.
Healthy living ain't cheap Sad

That's one thing I think we need to look at as a society. Substantially bringing down the costs of those things that benefit health, putting them within everyone's reach.

It depends what you consider to be expensive. I don't think it's cheap but I do think it's worth it.

It's expensive per ml however when you look at how long that ml will last, it's good value for money and it's hard to argue with the results people get from it.

For the price of black market extractions you may as well make your own. At the cheapest end all you need is weed, ethanol, pg, a kitchen and some time.
