Not familiar with your bike but I'm pretty sure it's a cable operated speedo. So check the ends of the cable are screwed in properly.
If that's all ok, undo the ckock end and turn the wheel while holding the end of the cable. If it turns, the clock is dead. If it doesn't either the cable or speed drive is bust.
I think the tacho is electronic so it's an entirely different issue to the speedo. They usually have three wires. A live, an earth and a signal. So you can check for 12v in the live, you can check for continuity to ground in the earth. Then you can check for end-to-end continuity in the wire between the CDI and the clock. if that's all ok, I'd suspect the clock itself.
How long has it been sat not running for? Could there be stale fuel? Is it running on all 4 (do the header pipes get hot)?
Worth noting that some bikes will not run properly unless the rev counter is connected and working properly. I suspect this is a little sophisticated for the age of your bike but it's worth mentioning. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
