All done in greed. Management appearing to not care and over ruling safety concerns and patching things just to sell some planes. I'd also be interrogating those who gave certification for the thing.
Patches and fixes are fine for an iPhone but not when it comes down to human life.
Will anyone be sentenced for this? I doubt it.
