The bits on most show bikes are invariably crap. Look shiny, don't work.
The bits on most trials bikes look crappy but work properly.
Harsh reality, you need to decide if you want a trials bike or a show bike.
You can get quite a lot of parts from the Wassell catalogue. Some are good, some are really shonky. Just like they were back in the day. They just don't like making them available non-trade proles.

I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

I have all the receipts for parts only, thousands. The close ratio gearbox was £650 alone. All the receipts have the same name and address on them. The head had new seats, guides and valves etc. Rear sprocket hand machined, tells a story of sorts. I had to buy a box file to put it all in. Regards |
