Debden, eh.
Fuck! Its even still in Newham Shocked
I could hardly avoid not getting that far under my own steam Laughing

I'm up for that.
If it starts to get parky, I can go home in 15 minutes and put the heating on, haha.

There's another place in the forest, sort of a bunk-bed arrangement, I went there once with the Women in the Wind*. Can't remember where it is, though. Maybe like a youth hostel, somewhere near a pub, LOL.

There's also a sort of "motel" called but thats more a sort of one or two people thing. Handful of people, couple of beds, that sort of thing. The Rooms @theforestlodge (or something, its on my Trip Advisor, I'll have a look). Its one or two roundabouts away from one of those rich chav steak places of which I cant remember the name, so you could get a decent feed, get plastered, ride back (no, walk back, sorry, I meant "leave your bike parked up and walk back", officer) and crash out Laughing

My capacity for rides out is still limited, I'm not back to full tilt long distance on this daft Harley yet. I'd feel stretched if we rode round to High Beach for a cup of tea and a breakfast sarnie Laughing

*Scary lady bikers in pyjamas and fluffy slippers MC. Nice bunch of girls, as it goes (most of 'em). Like the WI only with spells. And on two wheels.

You could have a sweepstake: who gets chucked out first, or last.
Laughing

There could be a prize for "Shortest Distance Ridden"
Either me or Conan would win it.
Or maybe Chris Thinking

I'll be there regardless. The only question is whether I can find someone to bring the bungalow.

I plan on going wherever it is, if it happens. I'm more likely to go on the bike if its a half hour ride.

If we can cope with London then there is a camp site at Debden that has an adult field, allows camp fires and music, and is generally fairly chilled out.

The only exception is that they expect noise kept to a minimum after 11pm and they enforce it fairly strictly with security patrols and stuff. Oh, and fire wood has to be bought on site.

See attachment, fields 6 and 7 are suitable. They cater for large groups too if we give them notice.

I'm usually pissed and asleep by half 9 so cool.

Well now, that;s not to say I wouldnt attend - someone has to get everyone off their bollocks.

Just think that a lot of the motivation has gone from most for whatever reason, organising it is a bit of a cunt because all year people say "Im there 100%" then when it comes to getting their paper out their pocket its "oh couldnt get the time off work", "im on holiday", "didnt know about it", or just radio silence altogether.

Which, as last year showed, completely fucked everything up.

I errr "work" from home now so any date suits me, build it and I'll come.

I'll give debden a call at some point in the next couple of days and see what their availability is in July/August to make sure it's actually an option, we can look at numbers/actual interest after that and decide if it's worth doing Thumbs Up

If there's only space for, say, 5, put me at no 1.

Unless it's pssing down outside it looks as if activities are in short supply. At least two people are just playing with their 'phones, and one's holding onto a Berol valve marker pen for some reason. What's he going to do with that?

It was raining at the time, I think. There was plenty to do but we were there for three ish days. Shingimi(?) is holding his vape.

Edit: If you look at the open entrance on the right, there's a budge in the roof where water has collected and it was before I got up because I drained it when I went in, almost drenching pyro.

It did rain spectacularly for a short time, but we have 3ish dirt bikes and a full motoX track. Trials bike and some mini pits.

@Riejufixing It ain't no leisure complex. Laughing

Search the National section of the forum and see what constitutes as 'activities'....I'll save you trouble.

Laughing...and lots of it.
Intoxicants - see above.
Ride outs.
Slightly above standard fry ups.
Shooting things.
Exploding things.
Fixing bikes.
Modding bikes.
Breaking bikes.
Burning things.
Listening to really intelligent people talk about things they know a lot about (TBH I just nod my head and smile).

Actually meeting half decent humans.
Detonating a human.
Burning humans - Well...they get pissed and like moths are drawn to a fire etc etc.
Puking is rare but it does happen.
Minor niggles are very rare in my experience of going to them.

Plus a phone should always be at hand(think at the time we were googling somethingsomething feltching.

[edit] and monstertrucks. FFS!!! Rolling Eyes

There's a point to be made here. All of those handsome fellows, with the exception of the funny looking one standing in the middle, are on FB and in touch with eachother and numerous others.

The funny-looking one is one Twitter.........endlessly.

So the point is that many BC effers spend more talking to each other elsewhere, so rounding them up to attend a BBQ is harder than herding (nob)cats.
