I have a lexmoto fmx 125 2016 Plate with 5000 miles on the clock
this is not EFI verison
Recently having issues with the bike not reaching its top speed and is cutting out on me if im stationary or trying to warm the bike up
its had a new fuel filter, new jet in the carb, and other parts have been replaced not related to the carb.
the bike is sluggish on power
i am running out of ideas of what this issue can be can anyone help me with advice and what else i should be looking for

A Honda PCX ? Very Happy

The FMX is a scoot not a bike and has a stated top speed of 52mph
Nothing wrong with having a scoot, just that when asking for advice,
the better/fuller info you give the better the guesses on the problem.

New carb jet at 2 years and 5000 miles?. why?
Not reaching the full 52mph could be worn transmisson components
(belt rollers clutch etc) assuming the engine is developing full power of course.
What colour is the plug?

Cutting out could be carb related especially as it sounds like someone's 'improved' it.
A faulty electric choke can cause problems related to this as well
