Like the idea, but, alas us brits have a tendancy to ruin anything like that. Just look at the bike share schemes in the various cities in the UK that have given up due to the cost of theft & vandalism

How does it work with crash helmets?

Is there just one XXL under the seat and 10 balaclavas to pad it out if you have a small head?

Anyway, as Linux says, the local yoof would have them away in seconds without recourse because the police have more imporatnt things to do round here like catching speeders on the A5. Evil or Very Mad

Spam aside, it's a reasonably competent idea. I rented a ped a few years ago on some far flung Greek island and had a blast. Open roads, quiet-ish with traffic and the like. Wouldn't fancy it in London though.
