It's possibly because, as I've said before, you have an incredibly familiar style of posting and use of language.
I've spoken to a mod about you, he's given me an explanation, I'm not convinced but we won't fall out about it, because we are big boys and adults can agree to disagree.
You don't seem to have a problem with the mechanics of posting here, so why don't you draw a line under your flagrant breach of one of the very few (and obviously signposted) forum rules, be happy in your smugness about finding a way around being banned and continue posting, as if nothing had happened?
I would suggest a name change to something less 'look at me', but that's up to you.
In any case, you can reverse your red blobs by contributing as a normal human being (as far as BCF is populated by normal human beings) and letting go of your ire.

Right'o mate. I've got absolutely nothing against you so I'll do my best to use my least obnoxious tone as possible.
1). Would that mod be Paddy. by any chance? He lives near me, he's got a friend who lives in the village next to me. If he says Travis Bickle is not a sock, Travis Bickle is not a sock. Be unconvinced if you like, but as back when everyone was accusing me of being a sock when I first signed up, my question to you is "why?". What would I have to gain from this? One of my first posts stated that I was a new rider and passed my test last summer. I subsequently posted a photo of my driving licence showing I acquired category A last summer (with none of the other AM, A1 or A2 categories previously held which is provable as there's no dates in those boxes). With this in mind, what possible reason would I have to come on here years/months before even getting a bike licence and create an account and contribute on here, only to then get banned/leave, go do my DAS and come back as a sock? This conspiracy theory is interesting to me but it's got me puzzled as to what the actual point of it would be. If you go back on my posts by Travis Bickle it wouldn't take a PI to figure out who I am, where I live, what I do for a living etc. Like it or not I'm transparent mate. There's no smoke and mirrors here.
2). I don't have a problem with the forum rules. Quote me having said that I do please. All I've ever said is that IF what Korn says is true inasmuch as if you are banned you may apologise and return (so long as you don't keep doing the same shit again and again), then why is my IP address still banned and why has he not acknowledged my apology?
3). How am I being smug. Again, all I'm doing is being transparent. It would have been so easy for me to just come on here with another user name through a proxy server and, suspicions aside, nobody would ever have been any the wiser. No. Instead I've come back on here and immediately announced who I am and what I'm doing back on here and how. There's nothing smug about that.
4). Yes this user name is intended to be temporary until Korn unbans my IP address so I can continue to use and contribute to the forum without the agro of having to go through a proxy server which is a minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless.
5). I've no intention of reversing the red blobs on this account. Contrary to popular belief the red blobs are largely as a result of almost exclusively continually posting on the off topic forums. NOT as a result of ratings from other users or people putting me on their enemy list.
6). Oh wait, there is no 6.
