More walls of unhappy text complaining about how WiPEY deleted many negative posts. Laughing

Apparently if WiPEY goes into production then riders will get killed.

See link in comments: https://www.facebook.com/wipey/posts/425419251344884

Remember... this is a discussion about WiPEY. Wink

Hilarious wall of sperg from *someone* about Wipey removing posts 🤣

Maybe 1st means 1st to get a real functioning prototype?

Food for thought for someone 🤣

First means whoever is first to get their product to market.

I don't care about who was first to claim to be the first wiper for motorcycle visors, all I care about is when I can buy one. I don't want to preorder one or back a crowdfunding page or anything like that, I want to pay them some money and have a wiper device delivered by the postie in a couple of days.

My demands are quite reasonable. Thumbs Up

I wish Wipey well but the price was a bit of a shock.
IMO It should have THE_BUTTON as standard, so no fumbling about with
gadgets on your visor whilst riding in heavy traffic in the rain.

Finally, a decent screenshot to Pass the popcorn on.
Looks like all the comments on Wipey have been removed.
No doubt the armchair bikers post will be removed.

IMO Wipey made two mistakes:
1. Didn't tick the 'keep it all' option when crowd funding.
2. Replied to all questions in sensible, concise English.

A new video without any sound.

https://www.facebook.com/wipey/posts/430865477466928

At seven seconds into the video and in the last few seconds of the video the guy appears to have interior fogging related problems!! Shocked

Think they will do one for your testicles?

If I were a certain team of person, I would sue Wipey for stealing my idea.
Can't afford the legal fees? Just crowd fund it.

I've got to admit I love that product, just sticks on the helmet. No wires or connections like FailFriend.

It doesn't stick on, you have to attach a bracket to your visor.

Many thanks to backers that supported us already!
WiPEY is now 80% funded and we still have 20 days and 20% to go.

As we already informed you in our mailing list, right now we are focused on the production version of WiPEY - to be more specific, we are working hard on the injection tooling needed for the production. After the successfull initial run, we will also publish some images of the final components.

This means the final product will be finished on time.

As soon as there is anything new we will make another update.

Please feel free to ask us anything regarding the WiPEY project.

If you like WiPEY, help us spread the word so we meet our goal as soon as possible.

We wish you all an awesome day Smile

Andrej from WiPEY team.

Sounds good and things might be looking up for them after their first crowdfunding failed and their argument with a certain ungrown man. But then if you have a look at the comments on the page...

"A reduced price does certainly not mean reduced quality. WiPEY will still be made with maximum precision in another case it would just not work as designed. Inside WiPEY there will be the same quality components. The thing is we got an investor who will cover the expenses for expensive tooling needed to manufacture WiPEY and this also made it possible to lower the WiPEY price exclusive on Kickstarter. Also, that is a reason we could set our founding goal relatively low."

So when it goes tits up, everything will be blamed on the investor. Crying or Very sad

and again today AA appeared on the street triple forum, I gave his post a couple of https://www.reddit.com/r/shittykickstarters/comments/5nomxw/rainpal_it_will_never_happen/

and asked if he was going to fulfil orders from 3 years ago?

he replied he wasn't going to 'get in an argument' with me and I was baiting him so he wasn't going to reply as I hadn't placed an order!

Wipey posts have appeared on several FB groups I use, again. They seem to have all disappeared yet again with snarky comments from the page owners

I received a most welcome e-mail today (not from Wipey though).
It's coming!

"You have to and it to ** the guy behind ***, a visor-wiping and cleaning attachment that fits directly onto practically any full-face or flip-lid visor, when he invents a product he thinks of everything” – Bikerandbike.co.uk"

Jeez, he's brazenly using that quote!?
The article is from 2016 and ends with a footnote;
Quote:
Biker & Bike Editorial Team: Since this article was published it has come to light that a lot of people are accusing (he/that which must not be named) of being (not a grown man). We would suggest that you make your own enquiries before you place an order.

I had to laugh, Wipey advertises that it can clip on or off in one second - with videos to prove.
Voldemort has updated his site to say that Voldemort's pet can be clipped on/off in 0.5 seconds Laughing
