WiPEY is always going to be more likely to end up embedded in your brain if comparing it to an imaginary product.

Some visor wipers no longer fit Arai lids. Laughing

WiPEY is also now available on Indiegogo: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/wipey-mini-wiper-for-bikers-and-scooterists

There are scam websites selling WiPEY: https://wipey.com/warning/

It is my opinion that cunt features popped up on S1000RR UK Owner's group on a social media platform too. When I prodded said unnamed poster (cunt features), it may or may not have made a wanker of itself with the amount of shit it might have been talking, although some of the more out-of-touch members of that group may have found the product slightly interesting somehow (probably because said member of the group could possibly have been offered £500 to do a video shoot promoting the product).

Said cunt features also may have tried to argue that using a finger to wipe the visor is extremely dangerous, and went on to compare the decreased visibility from rain on the visor to drink driving.

Not the best sales tactic to alienate your entire fucking target market. Should probably hire a salesman or marketing person to handle social media interaction.

Back in the real world I'm thinking rain sticks to imperfections (dirt, scratches)

No one wants to see a dirty helmet with shit all over it so always give your helmet a good polish Wink

Multi-purpose/furniture polish works really well, I find. Just a tiny bit of spray from one of those cans you find at the supermarket. A single canister goes a long way, and rain just rolls off the visor. Rain is never really a visibility issue, more a comfort one (and traction, i.e. watch for manhole covers). The real visibility issue is a misted-up visor as the weather gets colder. I just crack it open and then closed, and stop occasionally at a petrol station and help myself to a couple of those paper towels you find at the dispensers near the pumps. Although these days, I'm unlikely to ride at all if the weather's bad, so it doesn't affect me. When I used to commute by bike, I was always more concerned about corrosion and more irritated by having to take, put on and then remove waterproof overs.

What about a finger wiper being used on an Arai lid? Shocked

I'm trying to understand the 50 foot less stopping distance than a finger wiper but I can't make sense of it. I think I'll wait for WiPEY to make their claims about stopping distances and I'll work backwards from there to figure out what Voldemort is trying to say.

I can only think he's trying to say something about seeing obstructions 50yards further away... But with a touch of autist thrown in...

I cant believe i'm sticking up for the Rsole even in a minor way but
lets say you are in the middle of fingering yourself and something utterly dreadful happens.
The bike may travel 50 yards before you get to grips with the brake

Compare that scenario what an imaginary wiper.
Dreadful event? instant brakepal !
No baby kittens killed or ladyboy passengers thrown off to die horribly
in a ball of fire as sparks ignite her heavily laquered hair

Still not following though.

Brake is on the right, finger wiper is on the left.

Has this been tested and proven scientifically, or does it just exist in Unicorn Land, where hamburgers eat people ?

How can you test something which does not exist?

There haven't been any updates from WiPEY recently, I do hope they're busying making WiPEY and the lack of updates isn't because they've encountered any problems. Crying or Very sad

An update from WiPEY. Shocked

Sep 6, 2019 • 10:23AM

What is new?
Hi dear backers,

thank you very much for your contributions, this will really help us a lot with WiPEY project - by bringing the manufacturing unit cost down.

So what were we doing for the past few weeks?

We were working or the toolings. Actually we started to work on toolings almost 2 months ago, but these things take time. As soon as we finish the first test run, we will share the pictures with you.

Also for the past 3 weeks, we were testing the motor reliability and we made some adjustments here. After extensive tests, we found out that the motor with metal brushes are not reliable for our application, because metal brushes did not handle well start and stop operation - because of high peak current.

So what we did? The motor manufacturer made carbon brushes for us - and it works like a dream - works without any problems.

At the same time, this was the test for the reliability of the electronics and there is also no problems here.

We are very happy with the results.

As we said, new update with images will follow soon - in a weak or so.

Till then we wish you all an awesome time!

WiPEY team.

----

As is to be expected, the less than fully grown man hasn't achieved anything recently but I think carbon brushes could be a nice feature to add to his imaginary product. Oh wait, he slightly achieved something recently!!! Renewing the domain for a single year shows that the inventor CEO entrepreneur has complete confidence in their product, right? Laughing
