My in-sewer-ants need to move house shortly.
I currently have err.... five different bikes that I might want to ride within the next 12 months and frankly, keeping up with the insurance is a real pain. I have a multi-bike policy but for some reason it takes you up the arse if you try to put a small capacity bike on it. (my bikes range from 100cc to 660cc). I also like fiddling with smaller bikes then selling them on so the list is chopping and changing all the time, I loose track.
Does anyone know of a company that does a policy like the old-style NU rider policy I used to have (third party cover on any and all bikes up to a certain cc limit no matter who they are owned by and if they are insured elsewhere or not...the rider was insured, not the bikes)?
Fat chance I know, but you don't get if you don't ask. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

As far as I know that type is long gone
I used to ride the turbo on an 850cc rider policy, they were phased out in the mid nineties though. There may be some possiblity for a trade policy of some sort although I'm not familiar with one if there is.
If you do find a company that does this type of thing then please let me know ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |
