Well it wouldn’t be a draw for you would it, you odious dull excuse for a human being.

Mind you don’t you ride a GT550 or something else unspeakably shit?

I have no idea who you are, but you seem extremely angry about the fact that I called the now-derelict BCF chat room a creche. You aren't doing yourself any favours here, only proving my point.

And that GT550 was the best bike I ever owned. If it's unspeakably shit to you, that's fine, one less person to contend with for ownership if the time comes to search for and buy another.

No, you div, I have literally no idea about the tax status of the Isle of Man. I don't make decisions based on things as painfully cynical as, "How much tax will I have to pay if I go here?"

That's not how I remember it, when you gleefully announced you'd escape paying back your student load when you fled to China China China, after finally giving up being a student as a middle aged man.

Every time I interact with you I get a clearer picture of how your mind works.

You literally make stuff up on the spot, using raging hysterical Daily Mail-esque wording, then vehemently believe it because it makes you feel better about yourself.

Not once did I ever say I was heading to China to avoid student loans or tax duties. I came to China because I wanted to, and because I can. You can't because you're a thicko without even nearly the correct qualifications or ability. Get back to unjamming printers, you bore.

I grew up in a pretty rural town so I imagine things are similar. The island aspect bothers me a bit though. Here in ch-ch-china, people sometimes ask if I'd consider Taiwan - I tell them no because it's an island and I prefer the idea of living on a big and easily explored mainland. Something about 'Isle of Man' just seemed interesting though, at least for a year or two.

Being an island nation is a large part of what gives us our national character. It's how we came to build the greatest navy the world had ever seen, and spread pink (oo-er etc) all over the map of the world. Driven by curiosity - what is beyond these waters?

Living on the IOM might make you want to travel even more Laughing

There's some accurate info here, and some not so.

Property is expensive here. Its London suburb prices.

Council tax is cheap

Water is free

Fuel is more expensive

Crime is minimal

Insurance is cheap

Quality of life is excellent

No MOTs

And TT!!!11

Tax advantages are good. If you're married and your partner doesn't work, you can use their tax free sum. As a result the income tax I paid last year was less than £1000.

No speed limits on derestricted parts

Amazon won't ship anything with batteries here

Flights can be as cheap as 50 quid return. The ferry with two adults, two kids and a car is between 2-300 quid. Double it at TT.

All in all, I love the place, and won't leave.

You really don't. You haven't got a clue, you just see yourself as superior to everyone else.

Says the guy whose sole contribution to a genuine thread was a completely made-up comment with no purpose other than to make me look bad. That's all you do on here. If you stop being such a dick, and stop making up outright lies to push your wild hate-fuelled agenda, I'll stop calling you a boring thicko.

That's changed a bit. It used to be stupid money. Do the budget airlines go there now?

Yeah Easyjet do here. Between them and flybe you can get decently priced flights. £50 return is the cheapest I've experienced though.

Even as a foot passenger on the boat you're looking at 30 quid cheapest.

I went for the TT last year and loved it, not sure I would live there but a year or 2 would be great. It's awesome for biking. BNP42 would love it, it's very much stuck in the late 70s/ early 80s and I only saw 1 black guy all week.

Put him on ignore, you'll literally miss not a thing. If he was intelligent there would be more sport in bitch-slapping him but he's no good even for that minor entertainment. Laughing

I was told that the IOM is the only place you can see England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland all from one point. Been wondering if that's true?

Pretty much!

Has to be a fine, mist free, day but even without binoculars you can see 'em!
