Every day - hmm, wait. Every dry day. Big difference. Although tbf, over the east side of the Pennines there's loads less rain. So I'm out quite a bit, one way or the other. Not commuting as such, though.

Well it took 10 months to have an exhaust made on my bike, and since then it's taken me 8months to re-build my engine and faff about replacing fasteners and bits all over it that I wasn't happy with.

So what was the question again? Laughing

Yes, but.

Carlisle sits in its own little micro-climate. Rain to the north over the Southern Uplands, rain to the east over the Pennines, rain to the south over the Lakeland fells, but it'll be dry here often. Milder in the west too, generally.
But I think it evens out overall.

More or less any day (without snow on the ground) so far.

I can't say every day commuter as I often work from home, but most days when not commuting I find an excuse. On sunny days when working from home a jaunt on the bike is my break.

Only had a full licence for about six months though so still fired up with enthusiasm that may die down I can actually go for a day or two now without the bike and without getting itchy to go for a ride of some sort.

very little of late...

used to be every single day rain or shine. not wanting to get up earlier, plus kids tends to get in the way of that these days

my work situation may change shortly though, so I may change bike again and start commuting again rather than sit in traffic. (I currently start work at 6am so traffic isn't an issue and commute takes less time than putting my gear on and getting bike out the garage)

Ride every day, picked this bike up end of January and done 6.5k so far. Will probably do about 15-17k this year.

Most days, commuting. Unless I need to carry more than my laptop, or it's absolutely pissing down in the morning.

Not often enough, of late.

But when I do ride, it's worth it. For example, a day out on the lanes, an enduro, a track day.

Spend more time on the spanners than riding.

Should add, don't like riding on the road much. Too many people trying to kill me, too much traffic, too many scameras.

When I want to.

It used to be every day 80 miles a day.

Now just for fun.

I commute every day, but if I go more than a couple of days without riding, I start feeling antsy.

I commute except when temperature makes it slippery, by which I mean visible white matter or sub-zero temps on wet roads.

I don't go out for a blast as much as I used to. It takes so long to get out of London to roads with a few curves it hardly seems worth the effort; a few roundabouts while I go shopping have to do. I don't tour as often as I used to, but it's still the best way to get a really decent wodge of good roads in.

Both A and B.
A - Ratted 125 for commuting, local pottering about etc.
B - VFR750 for longer or faster trips, or taking the very scenic route to work.

Probably about 10K miles combined, and they're only laid up if they're broken.

Just for fun, mostly dry days and can be any day of the week.
Once the salt has washed off the roads is when I get back on the bike and come the first grittings is when I'll stop for the winter.

None of the above, I use my bike for my job so option A doesn't quite cut it.

Anyway I have 3 bikes to choose from, as for how long the bikes are laid up between rides isn't quite an easy question to answer. However I do around 30,000 miles a year.

Well, due to various reasons I managed 300 miles between MoTs last year (sunny days) Embarassed

It was MoT'd at the start of this month and I've already almost done that in the past 3 weeks (more sunny days).

Stuff commuting, I've got a car / push bike for that.

Every opportunity which is around 5 days a week. More if she who must be obeyed didn't insist on pulling rank so often.
