Bike used to pop on decel, now it doesn't

Had the bike 5 years now (Suzuki C800) and it would always have some light/medium popping/banging on deceleration.
It has a PAIR valve fitted with a solenoid, supposedly injects air into the exhaust to help burn leftover gases hence the popping sound when it works.
Well randomly it has stopped making any noises on decel. I've changed nothing on the bike, so what could the reason be? I thought maybe the PAIR valve is not working as it should but I'd expect an error code if thats the case. Not sure how to troubleshoot it either, or if its even worth it since the bike runs fine, just more concerned about emissions if the pair valve isnt working

Clearly the solenoid isn’t opening the valve.

If you really must have the “hole in the exhaust” effect, you could just drill a hole in the exhaust. Most people would see a valve which causes backfires due to a hole in the exhaust as a defect, not something which they think boosts their street cred.

Do you have leather tassels on it too?

I removed the PAIR on my bike. You should check your owners specific forum and see what rewards it will give you. We aren't monitoring the emissions on bikes....yet.
