It's been a rough week for me here and I do need cheering up today - this thread will do it nicely!
A few things:
You're about to get a bit of a ticking off from people here.
A dude named Tef is about to tell you to wait/pass a test to ride a bigger bike/tell you about his days in the army on a 4T 125 twin and how the rims could be fragile.
If, and only if, your 50 cc engine was able to run a national speed limits then it would last for 40 seconds before needing a rebuild.
I found the answer after a 20 second search on Duck Duck Go.
To be honest, if you want to go fast on a 50 it's easier for you to go on a diet to do it.

Sounds like they have a restricted CDI, so won't be as simple as popping a washer out of the exhaust and upjetting.

Question; have you got spare cash to endlessly chuck at this bike? And if so does your bike have the AM6 Minarelli engine fitted?
If yes and yes, then I'd say buy:
https://tzlperformance.com/products/cylinder-package-tpr-86cc-12mm-minarelli-horizontal-lc?variant=12216697946187
Will need a very expensive trick exhaust system and racing CDI and a big 24mm carb, plus taller gearing, possibly an uprated clutch etc etc.
You can say hello to 20bhp+ and silly frequently engine re-builds too, and probably plenty of full throttle seizure moments too. But on the other hand you can say goodbye to your mates 50cc bike and every other 50 in your town and probably your county too. Wear ear plugs though as the noise these things make is beyond irritating in the extreme. |

Old Thread Alert!
