Unless you're running a C90 with 6v electrics, run it off the bike. I made my own for, dunno, maybe £30, maybe less.

Father Christmas got me one, with a 5000mw power bank. Not sure of the make of the waistcoat.
In use I find it very good. T shirt on first, heated waistcoat, jumper, jacket, and waterproof (haha) outer. Warm as toast and generally used it on the lowest, and sometimes medium setting, Max was too hot. This would be 7am starts and 5pm finishes. Even though it was a mild winter, it was still bastard cold. Battery would last about an hour and a half, so that was to and from work, and back the next morning. Recharge at work. I can see that plugging into the bike makes some sense, but walking around with an independent heated coat, without unplugging from the bike is also handy.

Hope that helps.

If you are riding a 6v C90 then staying warm is going to be the least of your problems.

Why pay out for a powerbank powered heated jacket with the additional cost of the powerbank when you can just run off the bike where you will have a higher powered supply that doesn't run out of power as long as the engine is running?

Lets not forget having a battery strapped to you will hurt in an accident over and above the hurt caused by the accident alone.
