Hello everyone,

My name is G (Guillaume, William in French) I am 31 yo and I am new to this forum. Very Happy

I have an old GPZ500s that I fully rebuilt for track use. It was my bike when I was a student and then kind of left it in my parent's garage for around 10 years because of travelling around, working in foreign countries etc...

I spent the last 3 months getting the bike up to speed I just have to figure out the brakes left, get some nice tyres and should be good to go... these brakes are a nightware to get right... Rolling Eyes

I am looking for friends for track days so I could join them, some people with a trailer who can pick me up (and I share all cost with them indeed!) as my bike is full track set-up no V5C.

I remember my track days a long time ago and I loved racing against CB500s, everyone was making fun for me riding a GPZ500s, questioning why the bike and not a CB500, that was the bike my dad got me!! Obviously CB500 never liked me Wink

Looking forward to ride on track and hopefully I can find a buddy with some space on its trailer for my bike Smile

Have a great evening!

G

Hi G,

G will see this thread and he's always doing trackdays so he'll be able to offer advice of some shape or form. Laughing

GPZ500 brakes can be scary. Shocked
