£359 and on top of that you need to buy gifts for the dog and the owners.

And they have to be good gifts, not just token gifts. Razz

I know!

Lots of luxury dark chocolate raisins for the dog, and several "sympathy" flower bouquets for the owners!

Hmm, sounds note of caution... in the eyes of PC Plod, although it's one thing to put down rat poison on your own property, it might be construed differently if you put it in a neighbours petfood bowl on their own property... just sayin'.

Just in case, I should add to my last comment "No! Don't!".

OK. I did the Steve scenario and she looked disappointed and said they were her friends. She is not impressed with me and it was a very strained conversation, she was upset and it showed, her top lip quivered as she spoke.

Yorkie is back home and causing mischief as per, the owners hate me despite everything being OK. She wanted to see the new Spiderman film so I gave them a gift card for Odeon cinemas and she accepted it begrudgingly, I loaded it with £40, enough for premium seating, drinks and food. I bought some mini ceaser bones for the Yorkie as he likes them, 5 packs.

Not a good day.

If you did the same to my cat, I'd have fed it to you and watched you choke on your own vomit.

They hate you because a pet is a family member, not just an animal.

What, notwithstanding the fact the animal wasn't actually dead? Shocked

The thing is, it was an accident, It was not done out of spite/malice. I know where they are coming from, I've had pets before, had to take a dog down to the vets to be put to sleep. I understand. I really do.

At least the Yorkie is still with us, I am no longer trusted with walking him.

An accident that could have ruined the family and could have unknowingly caused future issues to that animal.

My cat is watched like a hawk. If he comes to work, he's on a lead and can't leave me more than the length of his lead. Even then I'm watching him and anything he even licks.

I don't pay that much attention to my kids, let alone the pets...

You must be one of those animal abusers, then, I would've taken the cat to the vet, not rammed it down someone's throat. I bet you're the type that buys "cat scratching posts" too, I can't think why anyone would want to do that to an animal, either. Disgraceful!

On Monday morning, you'll be making another phone call to pest control at the council?

About 6 pages back when the mention of getting a dog in. It was clear that it was going to end in tears for the dog owner...

Even if you got all the poison you had put down... The dog only had to nibble on a dead rat that had eaten the stuff or been running around in it to cause problems.

Consider yourself lucky that no one has reported this to the RSPCA. Or you could be ending up in court.. Twisted Evil
