Cbr6 - part of the electrical problems this week has been the charging system connectors, they were probably cheap insulated female spade connectors. From the corrosion, suspect made of steel.

Where can I get brass 6.5mm female spades from a local shop on a Sunday?

Car parts shops. Edit: I prefer small motor factors, but Eurocarparts have them.

On a Sunday though?

Probably B&Q or Halfords will have something but probably overpriced and not quite what you want Sad

Yup. Many smaller motor factors are open on Sunday mornings at least just for the weekend trade. Eurocarparts are 10 a.m. 'till 4 p.m.
