I have been told that my forks are slightly misting and is only an advisory, should I get them done soon or not?

Who told you, some bloke down the pub or an MOT tester?

They're often like that. There should always be a very thin film of oil on the stanchions. If not, the seals will wear out fast. If you really want to do something, change the oil in your forks (an often neglected procedure), and then just monitor.

This is one of the areas where MOT testers have some leeway, some will advise because there's a tide mark around the forks due to road dirt, some will let it go even if there's some actual wetness on the seals,

What you decide to do depends on how much your username genuinely reflects your personality - if you really don't give a fuck, you will leave it til next year, if you're worried about blowing a seal and having oil running down your forks and buggering up your brakes, you will get it done ASAP.
