So, looks utterly ridiculous, £5,250 and a 37 mile range in eco mode Laughing

I can think of more entertaining ways so waste money and look silly.

until they make electric vehicles have the same or greater distance than ice vehicles i dont see how its gonna work

37 miles is pointless even 120 miles is pointless if your doing long journeys and have to wait in excess of an hour to recharge

but man it has some pretty crazy specs for a city rider something like a 300cc engine producing upwards of 500NM of torque

It produces 1/3rd the torque of my £160 impact wrench.
It also has under half the top speed of the last 250cc bike I owned.

Vehicles likes this are a really bad choice if you intend to use them to travel long distances.
If you need something to commute through a town or city they can make an excellent choice - especially if you have easy access to a way to charge them overnight/while at work/etc.
Not at this price however, maybe.

Utterly impractical, north of 5K and you'll be waiting by the side of the road more than riding it?

I'll go buy a Ducai 916 instead, that ticks all the boxes... and is considerably more fun.

Yes. I've heard they are being plugged by lame-ass third-rate spammers - sorry, I mean viral marketers - who can't even spell.

I'd love to commute using electric 2and 4wheeled vehicles, but aside from the price and infrastructure issues (not necessarily range though) they would be 2nd vehicles to me while I can still own and use ICE vehicles in my leisure time. Electric is absolutely brilliant for certain specific jobs, but it's useless as a do everything family hack, caravan tower, off roader and low cost daily beater.

Add to that having an electric vehicle for commuting isn't lucrative enough or incentivised enough to be a no brainer or attractive purchase in the same way as say Diesel was 15years ago.

Also I'd have to ride or drive my electric vehicle on the same shit overcrowded roads full of people killer SUV's, and horrendous couldn't give a fuck driving attitudes of most people who really don't want to be sat in their car anyway and want to be doing other stuff, because driving is boring or even beneath them.

I hate people less than I hate traffic, congestion, poor driving, no parking etc. Therefore if I could spend £2-3k a year on trains and get where I want when I want, why would I consider spending more on an EV and then having the pleasure of the government wanting to tax me ever further to line their pockets and no spend anything on the state, or infrastructure etc.

Road legal vehicles are a novelty toy to me, and that's all I see them as. There is no future in individuals buying and driving or riding personal road transport vehicles. It's a dead concept in 2019>.

I would just take the money to a Royal Enfield dealership and get something more interesting to me...

I do actually like the idea of electric vehicles as another option, but that is expensive!!!!! the Super Socco TC Max sounds more interesting by far and cheaper... I am sure in a couple of years more there will be good value, practical and cheap alternatives, but I will wait it out.

I will then commute electric and have a hobby ride or two that still drinks petrol and can be tinkered with.
